A public hearing will be
held for the purpose of
reviewing and adopting
the 2026 ADA Transition
Plan and the Title VI Im-
plementation Plan pres-
ented to the County
Commissioners of Jen-
nings County, Indiana at
the Government Center,
200 E. Brown Street,
Vernon, Indiana at 9:00
am on Thursday August
6th, 2026 at which time
and place all persons in-
terested in the proceed-
ings may appear and be
heard. A copy of the
ADA Transition Plan and
Title VI Implementation
Plan will be available at
the Highway Clerks Of-
fice in the Highway De-
partment, 4800 N State
Highway 3, North Ver-
non, Indiana during the
hours of 7 am to 5 pm
Monday Thursday.
Copies are available
upon request.
Anyone who requires an
auxiliary aid or service
for effective communica-
tion during the meeting
should contact the office
of the ADA/Title VI Coor-
dinator, Pamela Hart-
well, (812) 346-2967 as
soon as possible, but no
later than 2 business
days before the sched-
uled event.
