Notice of Public Hearing

The Edinburgh Town
Council will hold a public
hearing on the 27th day
of May, 2025 at 6:00
p.m. at the Town Hall lo-
cated at 107 S. Holland
Street, Edinburgh, Indi-
ana, to consider a peti-
tion by MLS Partners,
LLC, Case Number PC
2025-04 RZ, for consid-
eration of Town of Edin-
burgh Ordinance No.
2025-05, An Ordinance
Approving Resolution
Number 2025-02
Amending Ordinance
2023-1 of the Town of
Edinburgh Plan Commis-
sion to add a commit-
ment to certain rezoned
property;

This request is to add a
commitment of restrict-
ing within the subject
subdivision only
slab-on-grade construc-
tion which adheres to
flood protection grade
requirements of the
property located near the
northeast intersection of
US 31 and State Road
252 within Blue River
Township commonly
known as Heckman Vil-
lage Subdivision to R-6,
GB, and RB. The High-
way Corridor Overlay
District boundaries and
provisions are not
amended and will re-
main. The property is le-
gally described as fol-
lows:
Lots 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17,
18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23,
24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29,
30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 36,
37, 38, 39 and 40 in
Heckman Village Re-
corded in Plat Book 3,
Page 54 in the Office of
the Recorder of Johnson
County, Indiana.
Also:
A part of Lot No. 10, as in-
dicated on the plat of
record of Heckman Vil-
lage Addition, Edin-
burgh, Indiana as re-
corded in Plat Book 3,
Page 54 of the records
of the Johnson County
Recorder.

Written suggestions or ob-
jections to provisions of
said request may be filed
with the Clerk-Treasurer
of Edinburgh at or before
such meeting and will be
heard by the Edinburgh
Town Council at the time
and place specified.
Hearings may be contin-
ued from time to time as
may be necessary.

Interested persons desir-
ing to present their views
upon the said request,
either in writing or ver-
bally, will be given the
opportunity to be heard
at the above-mentioned
time and place by at-
tending the meeting.
