the Court in Bartholo-
mew County, Columbus,
Indiana, under the
Cause Number listed
above, requesting that
the name of the minor
child, Gabriel Alejandro
Mendez Salas, be
changed to Gabriel
Alejandro Salas, pursu-
ant to the provisions of
I.C. 34-28-2. A Copy of
the Petition is sent with
this notice.
YOU ARE HEREBY FUR-
THER NOTIFIED THAT:
THE COURT has set the
Petition for hearing on
September 8, 2025 at
3:30 p.m., or as soon
thereafter as the same
can be heard in the
Court located at 234
Washington Street, Co-
lumbus, Indiana. The
hearing date may be re-
scheduled as is neces-
sary.
THE COURT may not
hear the Petition and is-
sue a Final Order until
thirty (30) days from the
later of the Proof of Fil-
ing of the Publication of
the Notice required un-
der said Statute, or after
the Service of the Peti-
tion upon the Parents or
Guardian of each minor
child, as is provided by
I.C. 34-28-2-4.
YOU and any other per-
son has the right to ap-
pear at the hearing in
person and with or by
Counsel or other accept-
able representative and
be heard, and to file writ-
ten objections. Objec-
tions to the Petition may
be filed in writing with
the Clerk of the Court in
this Cause prior to the
hearing by mailing or de-
livering the objections to
the Clerk of the Bartholo-
mew County Court-
house, 234 Washington
Street, Columbus, Indi-
ana 47201 and setting
forth the case name and
number on the written
objections. Written Ob-
jections can also be
presented at the hearing,
but if Objections are filed
at that time, there may
be a need to reschedule
the hearing date and
time.
