HEARING

The Columbus and Bar-
tholomew County Board
of Zoning Appeals Hear-
ing Officer will hold a
public hearing on the fol-
lowing petition(s):
BZA-26-43: Diego Arres
Vega (Conditional Use)
A request by Diego Ar-
res Vega for conditional
use approval to allow an
accessory dwelling in the
AG (Agriculture: Gen-
eral) zoning district per
Zoning Ordinance Sec-
tion 6.1(Table 6.1). The
property is located at
8190 West Nasby Trail,
in Ohio Township.
BZA-26-44: Timberland
Springs A request by
Arbor Homes for a de-
velopment standards
variance from Zoning Or-
dinance Section 3.13(C)
to allow 3 single family
residential structure
home types (the Arrival
product) to have as little
as 23 percent ground
floor living area, 17 per-
cent less than the mini-
mum 40 percent re-
quired. The properties
will be located in the pro-
posed Arbor Homes de-
velopment at the north-
east corner of 150 West
and Deaver Road, in the
City of Columbus.
BZA-26-42: Lakeview Min-
istries (Conditional Use)
A request by Lakeview
Ministries for conditional
use approval to allow the
expansion of an existing
campground, with a pro-
posed larger recreation
center, in the AG
(Agriculture: General)
zoning district per Zon-
ing Ordinance Section
3.6(B). The property is
located at 13500 West
Lake Road, in Jackson
Township.
The hearing(s) will occur
at the June 9, 2026
meeting, which begins at
4:00 p.m.
The meeting will be held in
the Council Chamber at
City Hall, 123 Washing-
ton Street, Columbus, In-
diana. The meeting loca-
tion is wheelchair acces-
sible. Please contact the
Planning Department
prior to the day of the

with questions or if you
should require any addi-
tional accommodation
related to a disability.
The meeting will also be

Anyone is welcome to
voice an opinion during
the hearing(s) and/or file
written comments con-
cerning the petition(s)
with the Planning De-
partment prior to the
meeting. The petition(s)
may be examined at the
Planning Department on
the second floor of City
Hall; it is recommended
that a time be scheduled
with the Planning De-
partment to view petition
materials. The petition(s)
may be transferred to
the full Board of Zoning
Appeals if deemed nec-
essary. Notification of
this transfer would be
made at the above refer-
enced meeting. The
hearing on any petition
may be continued to a
subsequent meeting as
necessary.
