Notice of Public Hearing
Council will hold a public
hearing on the 9th day of
February 2026 at 6:00
p.m. in the Town Hall lo-
cated at 107 S. Holland
Street, Edinburgh, Indi-
ana, to consider a peti-
tion by Angela M.
Kelsay, for consideration
of an ordinance annex-
ing certain property con-
tiguous to the bounda-
ries of the Town of Edin-
burgh and a resolution
adopting a fiscal plan of
services for the annexa-
tion of certain territory.
This request is for the
annexation of approxi-
mately 1.30 acres com-
monly known as 7995 S.
US 31 Edinburgh, IN
46124, legally described
as follows:
Lots numbered 35 and 41
of the Plat of Heckman
Village, Recorded in Plat
Book 3, Page 54, in the
office of the recorder of
Johnson County, Indi-
ana, as recorded in doc-
uments numbered
2013-004477 and
2013-004479 in the Of-
fice of the Recorder of
Johnson County, Indi-
ana.

And including all contigu-
ous areas of public high-
ways and rights-of-way
of the public highways
which are not already
contained within the cor-
porate boundaries of the
Town of Edinburgh.
Subject to any and all
easements, agreements
and restrictions of rec-
ord.
Written suggestions or ob-
jections to provisions of
said request may be filed
with the Edinburgh Town
Clerk, at or before such
meeting and will be
heard by the Edinburgh
Town Council at the time
and place specified.
Hearings may be contin-
ued from time to time as
may be necessary.
Interested persons desir-
ing to present their views
upon the said request,
either in writing or ver-
bally, will be given the
opportunity to be heard
at the above mentioned
time and place by at-
tending the meeting.

may be examined at the
