Notice is hereby given that
the Bartholomew County
Solid Waste Manage-
ment District (BCSWMD)
will receive sealed bids
at the office of the Direc-
tor, 720 South Mapleton
Street, Columbus, Indi-
ana 47201 until 4:00
p.m. local time on
Wednesday, March 25,
2026 for the purchase of:
One 194 minimum net HP
diesel powered hydro-
static drive crawler
loader with
multi-purpose (4 in one)
bucket, enclosed ROPS
cab with air pressuriza-
tion and heater / de-
froster / air conditioner.
Specifications are availa-
ble at the office of the Di-
rectory, BCSWMD
(812-376-2614.) Each
bidder shall file with his
bid a bid bond or certi-
fied check in the amount
of 10% of the purchase
price. A properly exe-
cuted bid form shall ac-
company each bid.
The BCSWMD reserves
the right to reject any or
all proposals, to waive
any informalities or irreg-
ularities therein, and to
accept the bid which is in
its sole judgement is the
most responsive, re-
sponsible bid. No bid
may be withdrawn within
a period of ninety (90)
days after receipt of
bids. No contract will be
awarded to any bidder,
who as determined bye
the BSCWMD is not
qualified to provide
and/or maintain said
equipment.
