NOTICE OF PUBLIC
HEARING
Notice is hereby given that
the Common Council of
the City of Columbus, In-
diana will hold a public
hearing on a proposed
ordinance annexing
+/-80 acres to the City of
Columbus as petitioned
by Abundant Home So-
lutions, LLC (also known
as Columbus Plan Com-
mission case number
PC-26-7). The area sub-
ject to the petition is lo-
cated on the north side
of Sawin Drive approxi-
mately 1,300 feet west of
Talley Road, in Colum-
bus Township.
The public hearing on this
annexation ordinance
has been set for the
Common Council meet-
ing on Tuesday, August
18, 2026, which begins
at 6:00 p.m., in the
Council Chambers, lo-
cated on the second
floor of City Hall, 123
Washington Street, Co-
lumbus, Indiana. Inter-
ested parties may voice
an opinion at the hearing
and/or file written com-
ments concerning this
matter with the City of
Columbus - Bartholo-
mew County Planning
Department. This annex-
ation petition and ordi-
nance may be examined
in the office of the Plann-
ing Department on the
second floor of City Hall.
The Columbus Common
Council meeting is
wheelchair accessible. If
