The Bartholomew County
Board of Zoning Appeals
will hold a public hearing
on the following
petition(s):
BZA-26-40: Troy Staggs
(Development Standards
Variance) A request by
Troy Staggs for a devel-
opment standards vari-
ance from the Hartsville
Zoning Ordinance Sec-
tion 9.01.050 to allow an
accessory structure to
be located on a property
without a primary struc-
ture. The property is lo-
cated at 6161 North Tay-
lor Street, in Hawcreek
Township.
The hearing(s) will occur
at the May 27, 2026
meeting, which begins at
7:00 p.m.
The meeting will be held in
the Council Chambers at
City Hall, 123 Washing-
ton Street, Columbus, In-

prior to the meeting. The
petition(s) may be exam-
ined at the Planning De-
partment on the second
floor of City Hall; it is rec-
ommended that a time
be scheduled with the
Planning Department to
view petition materials.
The hearing on any peti-
tion may be continued to
a subsequent meeting
as necessary.
